Join us as we learn about the art of making ceramic lamps with guest artist Linda Perez.  Linda has been a ceramic artist for many years and is an enthusiastic instuctor of ceramic arts.  Our workshop will be mostly demonstration based and Linda has tons of information and expertise to share. Bring your questions and a sketchbook.

Linda will demonstrate the process from hardware to shade options starting with a video presentation and artist talk.  Linda will have some finished lamps to show and will discuss things to consider when making the ceramic lamp body. The hands on portion of the workshop will give attendees an opprtunity to learn how to assemble the hardware/fixture of the lamp and the wiring.

Attendees can purchase a lamp kit prior to the workshop if desired.  Linda reccomends Jandorf Lamp Kit with 10" harp - it can be purchased online via Amazon or other distributors.  Also Linda Perez has a small handful of lamp kits available to purchase in class for a cash payment.

    Snacks will be provided.

Open to active SAPG members. There is a Guest fee of $5 due at time of registration.
